Religious Education Registration 2018-2019

Intergenerational Faith Formation

The 2018-2019 religious education year will include a family faith formation program that will bring together everyone in your family's home, from the youngest to the oldest, from children to parents and grandparents, to participate in the Sunday Mass and grow in faith and knowldege of it by participating in a program after Mass. All will particpate in the Sunday 8:00 a.m. Mass and gather in Father Morgan Hall immediately following in the Mass. After a chance to greet one another and have a snack and something to drink, the session will continue with an introductory activity based on the lesson of the day for all ages. Then we will continue to explore the topic of the day in either age-specific or family-based break out groups. Before the session ends at 10:15 a.m., all participants will regather for a closing activity or prayer. There will be additional sessions (children only) for children preparing for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

Intergenerational Faith Formation Calendar 18-19

1st Reconciliation & 1st Communion:

Children preparing for the Sacramanents of Reconciliation and 1st Communion will meet twice a month, for extra Sacramental Prep Classes.  The meeting times will be right after the 8:00 am Mass and will meet in Father Morgan Hall. We use a step by step program from Dynamic Catholic called "Blessed."  It is a wonderful DVD series and workbooks that engage the children to grow in their faith.
